Food lovers, rejoice! The first annual Restaurant Week is coming to Port Washington in October.
The weeklong event will be held from October 11-18.

Participating restaurants will offer a price fixe menu consisting of an appetizer, a entree and a dessert at $23 on each day.
The price fixe menu will be available until 7 p.m on Saturday, Oct. 17. The price does not include tax or gratuity.

Restaurants must offer three appetizers, three entrees and three desserts.
The price is an excellent deal compared to other Restaurant Weeks, according to Mariann Dalimonte, executive director of Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District.
Dalimonte says she hopes to have more restaurants join the already long list of participating restaurants.
