Employee Stole $14K From Manhasset Store: Police

An employee at a Manhasset retail store was arrested Wednesday after police said she stole thousands of dollars from her company within a six month span.

According to authorities, an employee of Crate & Barrel, located at 1950 Northern Boulevard, conducted fraudulent cash refund transactions, causing the store to suffer a loss of more than $14,000 between May 2015 and January 2016.

Krystal Clark, 28, of Jamaica, Queens, was placed under arrest at the store at 6:30 p.m. without incident. She will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
