Employee Stole Full Cash Bags From Manhasset Company: Police

An employee at Staples in Manhasset was arrested Tuesday for stealing his company’s cash deposit bags worth $8,000, police say.

According to authorities, Mark Cashman, of Massapequa Park, stole full cash deposit bags from Staples, located at 1410 Northern Boulevard, at some point between May 10-31. Staples suffered a monetary loss of approximately $8,000 from the alleged theft.

Cashman was arrested at 6:55 a.m. and was charged with third-degree grand larceny. He will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
