Free Screening: Documentary on Fracking Coming to Soundview in Port Washington

Director Renard Cohen will be at Soundview Movie Theater on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., where viewers can see a free screening of “Ground Swell Rising,” a new documentary about fracking.

The film looks at the “people from all walks of life and all sides of the political spectrum who are dedicating themselves to resisting, slowing down or stopping fracking,” according to groundswellrising.com.

Cohen, who has produced programs for PBS and Food Network, will conduct a question and answer session after the film.
