Golden Dolphin Owner Accused Of Starving Dog

His dog Callie was found to be underweight, suffering from an ear infection and lacking veterinarian care, the SPCA says.

One of the owners of the Golden Dolphin Diner in Huntington was arrested on Wednesday on charges in connection to starving his dog, according to Nassau County SPCA.

Peter T. Tsadlias, 46, of Laurel Hollow, was charged with torturing or injuring animals and failure to provide sustenance. The SPCA said his dog Callie was found to be underweight, suffering from an ear infection and lacking veterinarian care.

Tsadlias was processed by the Nassau County District Attorney's Animal Crimes Unit and was arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.

The charges are merely accusations and Tsadlias is presumed innocent until and unless found guilty.
