PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The popular films "Grease" and "Jaws" are coming to Port Washington this month as part of the Town of North Hempstead's free, drive-in movie series. Meanwhile, "Sandlot" will hit New Hyde Park.

Officials announced Thursday double-header movie weekends throughout the rest of the month. There's no charge to register, but officials encourage attendees to bring nonperishable and canned foods as part of the town's donation drive.

Residents can click here to register their cars in advance or call 311. With additional spaces, registration is open to residents even if they have registered and attended before.

No food will be available for purchase and residents are encouraged to bring their own snacks. Restroom facilities, however, will be available.
