What Makes a Great Image
Alan Agdern, an award winningr photographer, will present a talk at the Port Washington Library on Nov. 13 at 7:30 PM sponsored by PCLI.
On Wednesday, November 13 at 7:30 PM, The Photography Club of Long Island (PCLI) will feature Alan Agdern speaking on the topic, "What Makes a Great Image” at the Port Washington Public Library. Join Alan as he takes us on a journey to discover the components of a great digital image.
His talk will include rules and guidelines of composition, what judges look for in your work as well as methods of sharing your work. During the presentation he will show samples of images which did well in monthly club and PFLI (Photographic Federation of L.I.) competitions.
Agdern is a member of the PFLI Hall of Fame and on their All Stars list. He teaches workshops, gives presentations and provides private instruction in the use of Lightroom, Photoshop, Luminar and Aurora post processing software. He is a Salon worker at the Syosset Camera Club and participates in color and black and white prints and digital competitions. He judges at local clubs as well as at PFLI monthly and Leonard Victor competitions.
