Jude Treder-Wolff Brings Comedy Storytelling Show To Port Jeff
Storytelling is the new stand-up, comedy makes any story unforgettable, and you get both in this show by LI therapist Jude Treder-Wolff

In a world that seems to be getting crazier, there are more varieties of therapy and self-help than ever before. But are they helping? This solo storytelling show - with a side of music - written and performed by Jude Treder-Wolffis about what can happen when the desire to help meets reality in a true, comedic account of a long-time psychotherapist's struggle against burn-out and the fascinating characters who thought they could help: The highly opinionated life coach, the evangelizing corporate trainer, the New Age healer who was either the most relaxed person you could ever meet or completely high. If you have ever found yourself so emotionally exhausted you could not do the thing you love the most, if you wonder whether what we do to make the world better really matters, this show just might help. This Isn't Helpingwas selected for the 2017 Speak Up! Rise Up! Storytelling Festival and performed at the Off-Broadway Connelly Theater in NYC. It features original songs written for the show by Jude Treder-Wolff and Wells Hanley.
Jude Treder-Wolff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Group Psychotherapist and creative arts therapist, and host/creator of (mostly) TRUE THINGS, a game wrapped in a storytelling show that is performed once a month at The Performing Arts Studio of NY, 224 E.
