Long Island Dominates List of Top 100 Elementary Schools in New York
Long Island schools make up half of the 2017 rankings, which was recently released by Niche.com.

Fifty Long Island schools made the list of the top 100 in New York by Niche.com, and almost all of the top 10 schools are from Nassau County.
Niche.com recently released national and state rankings of public elementary schools across the country.
The rankings accessed 48,625 public elementary schools and analyzed them based on academic and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and parents on Niche.com.

Nine schools in New York’s top 10 are all from Nassau County. Long Island schools dominated the list (see rankings below.)
Lakeville Elementary School in Great Neck was ranked No. 25 in the nation and No. 1 in New York. The nation’s top elementary school was found to be Hillside Elementary School in Berwyn, PA.
