Local professional Joe Dente, general manager at Brooks Brothers in Manhasset, was recently profiled for the National Retail Federation's This is Retail campaign.
The NRF launched the This is Retail initiative in April 2013 to highlight the industry’s opportunities for life-long careers, how retailers strengthen communities at home and abroad, and the critical role that retail plays in driving innovation.
One of eight store executives that NRF featured for its "Store Leadership Series," the 42-year retail professional says the first thing he does when walks into the store every day is: to look at it through fresh eyes, trying to see the store as our customers do, and inspiring my team to help me reflect our brand and our store's personality in the best way possible, accordng to the the NRF website.
