Meet Lovie: Affectionate 2-Year-Old Pup Looking For A Forever Home

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Two-year-old Lovie lives up to her name, bringing plenty of affection and charm as she waits for a family to call her own.

Lovie has arrived at the North Shore Animal League America's Port Washington campus full of affection and charm, where she is hoping to trade her kennel for a loving home.

The pup has a playful energy and gentle companionship, making her easygoing and a perfect best friend, shelter staff said.

"She loves having fun and spending time with her people, but she's just as content settling in for pets and attention," according to shelter staff.

Lovie is looking for a family with children over 8 years old. She would also be happy to meet any resident dogs to see if they could become the perfect companions.
