New Port Washington Restaurant Awarded $2,000 BID Grant

The money will be used to offset some construction costs prior to opening.

A new restaurant in Port Washington was awarded a $2,000 grant by the Port Washington Business Improvement District .

“This money will be used to offset some of our construction costs prior to opening,” Kent Monkan, owner of The Wild Goose, said in a press release.

The Wild Goose is located at 75 Main St.

“The purpose of the New Tenant Bonus Program is to allow our organizations to help start a business within the BID District,” the BID’s Executive Director Mariann Dailmonte said. “We are excited that The Wild Goose has chosen Port Washington and we wish them much success.”
