Town of North Hempstead Catamaran Sailing Program
Manorhaven Beach Park at 158 Manorhaven Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050
Set sail with an experienced instructor and discover if sailing is for you or take a private lesson and tailor it to your individual goals. Your instructor will guide you through rigging the boat, basic terminology and help you set your course for an exciting sail. Open to all levels: beginners and experienced sailors are welcome.
Great for individuals looking to get out on the water and discover the excitement of sailing.
This program offer the following courses scheduled by appointment only
1. Discover sail- 2 hour course. $80 residents/ $96 non-residents, maximum 2 students per class
2. Sailing 101- 4 hour course divided in 2 sessions. $150 residents/ $180 non-residents, maximum 2 students per class.
3. Sailing Private lessons-2 hour course. $120 residents/ $144 non-residents, per person for 2 hours
