“As the holiday season approaches, it’s important for us to shop small and support our local businesses, especially those in our downtowns like Port Washington,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “COVID-19 has impacted so many people, including small business owners. We hope that temporarily suspending parking fees will enable residents to take advantage of all that Port Washington has to offer.”

“Did you know that when you shop at a local business our community benefits in so many ways. Creating jobs, sponsoring a little league team, giving donations to our local charities and so much more,” said Council Member Dalimonte. “These are some of the reasons why you should always supPORT local. There are so many great hidden gems in our community, you can find something for everyone on your holiday list.”
