Pedestrian, 72, Critically Injured In Roslyn Heights Hit-And-Run: PD
The man was crossing Mineola Avenue, police say.
ROSLYN, NY — A 72-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while crossing Mineola Avenue in Roslyn Heights on Tuesday night, police said.
The pedestrian was crossing the road near Woodward Street at 9:15 p.m. when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene, Nassau County police said.
The man sufered serious physical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital where he is listed in critical condition, police said.
