On Friday, when Glenn McCready performs pop, rock and folk music as Glenn Squared at The Dolphin Cafe in Port Washington, he plans to play for a cause.
“I have played there several times, but this set will be different,” he said. “I am going to be trying to raise money towards UNICEF’s Ebola efforts.”
UNICEF is trying to raise more than $200 million to respond to the Ebola outbreak as part of a six-month appeal for $987.8 million that governments and humanitarian agencies require to fight the disease, according to a UNICEF press release.
