Port Rowing Fall High School Season Begins
Register now for the fall 2015 rowing season with Port Rowing. We welcome all levels of rowing experience to join our competitive team.
Rising 9th - 12th graders of all rowing experience are welcome to join our team. Our community based program is open to students from all schools and neighboring areas. We are located at North Hempstead Beach Park at the north entrance (175 West Shore Rd, Port Washington).
Participants will learn proper rowing technique, safe equipment handling, and participate in regional and local regattas. In addition to training in 2, 4, and 8 person boats, Port Rowing is the only program on Long Island to offer a unique, land training experience with our 8 person boat simulator.
Pre-season practices are Monday - Friday, with first team meeting and practice on Monday, August 24 at 3:30 pm. Pre-season training will continue in the mornings Tuesday, August 25 - Tuesday, September 1 from 8 am - 11 am.

In Season practice schedule begins Wednesday, September 2. Weekday practices are from 4 – 6:30 pm and Saturdays 7am – 11am. 4 weekday practices, 1 “Open Boathouse” training session, and Saturday morning practices.
