Port Washington BID Awards $5K Grant to Local Business
It was the Business Improvement District's first time awarding a Facade Rehabilitation Grant.
The Port Washington Business Improvement District awarded its first Facade Rehabilitation Grant to Sylvan Learning Center.
The $5,000 grant will be used for painting the building and installing a brand new sunbrella awning with a welded aluminum frame at the tutoring center, located at 23 Main St.
“We feel that this is a step in the right direction to help businesses enhance their facade,” Executive Director of the BID Mariann Dalimonte said. “This program does offer guidelines and by not being a matching grant, it allows all qualifying businesses to be able to apply.”
