PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A member of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce has been honored for supporting the local economy and her dedication to the organization.

Honoree Drina Scheiber was recognized Oct. 18 at the 35th Annual Small Business Person of the Year and Legislative Breakfast. The event is hosted by the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce, the umbrella organization for more than 20 local chambers, which represent over 6,000 businesses.

Judi Bosworth, the North Hempstead supervisor, attended the event, as well as council members Viviana Russel, Peter Zuckerman, Angelo Ferrara and Lee Seeman.

The celebration was held at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
