Port Washington Children’s Center Students Learn Dental Health During Visit With Tiny Sparkles
The Port Washington Children's Center Hosted a Special Visit with Tiny Sparkles Pediatric Dentistry

In recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month in February, students at the Port Washington Children’s Center recently took part in an engaging, hands-on lesson about dental health during a special visit from Tiny Sparkles Pediatric Dentistry.
Representatives from the Port Washington-based dental practice visited the center to teach children the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and making smart daily choices that support good dental hygiene. Through interactive activities and demonstrations, the young learners discovered how simple habits can help keep their smiles bright and healthy.
During the visit, students practiced proper brushing techniques using large-scale models of teeth attached to stuffed animals, giving them a fun and memorable way to learn the basics of oral care. The activity helped children understand how to brush thoroughly and why it’s important to care for their teeth every day.

The visit not only introduced students to essential dental health practices but also reinforced the connection between physical health and overall well-being. By making the lesson playful and interactive, the representatives from Tiny Sparkles Pediatric Dentistry helped the children feel comfortable and confident about taking care of their smiles.
