Port Washington Company Makes Huggable Stuffed Animals for Children

A Port Washington-based company built huggable stuffed animals to bring comfort to local children who have been in an accident, a fire or have gone through a traumatic event.

About 17 employees from the NPD Group and its Activities Committee organized and hosted a Rescue Bear team-building and community service event on July 24.

The stuffed animals were donated to the Port Washington Police District and Port Washington Fire Department for distribution.

Port Washington Police Chief James Salerno and Port Washington Fire Chief Brian Waterson thanked The NPD Group and its team members for this donation.
