Port Washington COVID-19 Community Response

Fabric and Shoe laces needed

As part of the Port Washington COVID-19 Community Response, beginning next week, a team of volunteers will be making washable fabric face masks for Port Washington's Outreach families-- at Our Lady of Fatima, St. Peter's and LIttig House (plus others in need). Goal is 650 masks. Please contribute any extra all cotton, tightly woven fabric (scraps larger than 6" x 9" are fine) and new flat cotton shoe laces (elastic is hard to come by). Thank you for your thoughtfulness and your support.

T-shirts are knits and are NO GOOD for this project.

Donation box is on the porch at 35 Litchfield Road, PW. If you can't leave your home, but have a donation or if you have a sewing machine and want to help, email Julie B. Meer (Community Chest Executive Director) at info@portchest.org.
