Port Washington, New York (September 8, 2020)—There was no masking the excitement throughout the Port Washington Union Free School District today as it welcomed students back, both in-person and virtually, for the 2020-21 school year.

At Paul D. Schreiber High School, students on the blue team headed into school bright and early for their first A-Day. At Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School, one of Port's remarkable art teachers, Ms. Kristine Rivera, welcomed her students back virtually via Google Classroom following the district’s hybrid model. At Guggenheim and John J. Daly elementary schools, students were all smiles while enjoying their food behind their protective shields during a lunch break.
