Restaurant Yamaguchi in Port Washington to Re-open in 2015
The sushi-lovers' favorite has begun construction at its new home.

Restaurant Yamaguchi, which closed after the 2013 Main Street fire in Port Washington, is set to open again.
The restaurant expects to open in early 2015, according to a recent posting on the eatery’s Facebook page.

The message reads:
We have some exciting news to share. Construction has officially started, so it shouldn’t be long before the grand re-opening. We are aiming to re-open early 2015 and are so excited to be able to serve our customers once again.

The restaurants new address is 49 Main Street, directly across the street from Arena Sports, on the intersection of Main North Bayles Avenue, a Town of North Hempstead spokesman told Patch.
