Sheldon Turtletaub, longtime Port Washingon resident, dies at 85

Lived in Port Washington for 60 years.

Sheldon J. (Shelly) Turtletaub, a 60-year Port Washington resident, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Shelly was predeceased by his wife, the former Myrna Horowitz. He is survived by his sister Renée Spath, his children Bruce and JoAnna Turtletaub, Amy and Daniel Greller, and Susan Turtletaub and Kimberly Breshears, his grandchildren Kenneth Nathan Greller and Katelyn Brooks Greller, and his longtime companion, Lilyan Strassman. He will be remembered for his intellect, good humor, and love of family and friends. Donations in Shelly's honor can be made to the American Lung Association or the ACLU.
