Throughout the entire month of October, Port’s unique philanthropic gift shop, wit & whim, located at 6 Carlton Ave. (off Lower Main Street) will give 100% of its profits after expenses to the Friends of the Library, in honor of the FOL’s 50th Anniversary. Visit on Thursday, October 6 for festive in-store receptions, including refreshments, from 12 to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Anyone making a purchase of $75 or more will receive a special gift. Your shopping will help to support key programs and services that the FOL funds at the PWPL.
