Successful Kickoff for FOL Fundraising Month at wit & whim

Two receptions on Oct. 6 at Port’s unique philanthropic gift shop, wit & whim, located at 6 Carlton Ave. (off Lower Main Street) kicked off the fundraising month for the Friends of the Library. During all of October, wit & whim will give 100% of its profits after expenses to the Friends in honor of the FOL’s 50th Anniversary. Anyone making a purchase of $75 or more will receive a special gift. The store has been beautifully decorated on a book theme to reflect the FOL's mission.
