Summer Concert Series Lineups In North Hempstead
Concerts will be held at North Hempstead Beach Park, Mary Jane Davies Green, Clark Botanic Garden and Michael J. Tully Park this summer.
Lineups for free summer concerts at North Hempstead Beach Park, Mary Jane Davies Green, Clark Botanic Garden and Michael J. Tully Park have been announced.
"Sunday Afternoons at the Beach" takes place in front of the backdrop of North Hempstead Beach Park, located at 175 West Shore Road in Port Washington starting on July 9. All concerts kick off at 1 p.m. Note: there is still a parking fee.
“This year’s slate of concerts at North Hempstead Beach Park will be the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon for you and your family,” Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth said in a press release. “What a wonderful way to spend some enjoyable time at our local beach.”

"Sunday Afternoons at the Beach" lineup:
- On July 9, Alive & Kickin’ – a hot variety band
- On July 16, Ring of Fire – a tribute to Johnny Cash
- On July 23, 45RPM – a popular cover band, known as the purveyors of fun music
- On July 30, The Capris – oldies band performing this such as, “There’s A Moon Out Tonight”
- On August 6, Gold Coast Orchestra – high energy, contemporary band
The free concert series at Mary Jane Davies Green in Manhasset will be held on Monday nights at 7:30 p.m. starting July 17.
Mary Jane Davies Green is located on Plandome Road, across from Town Hall.

Mary Jane Davies Green concert lineup:
- On July 17, Penny Lane - a tribute to the Beatles
- On July 24, Jammin’ With You - music for kids and their families
- On July 31, Randi and the Rainbows – Oldies night, performing their hit record “Denise, Denise.”
- On August 7, New Vintage Swing Band followed by Conga -- a tribute to the Miami Sound Machine
Another free summer concert series will be held on Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. at the Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson starting July 11.
Clark Botanic Garden is a 12-acre living museum and educational facility located at 193 I.U. Willets Road.
“We are thrilled to have a diverse concert lineup this year at the beautiful Clark Botanic Garden, with everything from theatrical productions to dance to music,” Bosworth said. “Bring a lawn chair, a snack and the whole family for a night of fun at our Clark Botanic Garden.”

- July 11, Plaza Theatrical Productions musical of Madagascar as the family night musical
- July 18, Folk Night Festival featuring David Sear followed by Tom Chapin
- July 25, New York Brass Choir with Brass Blast under the baton of Dean Karahalis
- August 1, Dance Visions with an art display
- August 8, North Shore Pops - playing classics and movie themes
A summer concert at the Stadium at Michael J. Tully Park in August will include two bands paying tribute to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
“We are so very excited to have a great slate of incredible cover bands for the annual stadium show at Michael J. Tully Park,” Bosworth said.
Strawberry Fields, a tribute to the Beatles and the Streetfighter Band, a tribute to the Rolling Stones will perform for residents on Friday, August 4 at 7 p.m.
Tully Park is located at 1801 Evergreen Avenue in New Hyde Park.
