The P. W. Patch neglects Main Steet

Being that the Patch has cut a large portion of the staff (as I was informed),  I guess local residents will have to pick up the slack and post local events or openings of new businesses.
Along Main Street there seems to be considerable activity as new businesses are either opening or getting ready to do so. This is a very welcome site being so many stores have been vacant in the past two years.
Pepe Rosso in Manohaven has taken up space vacated by long term restaurant AMIGOS. From what I saw the entire place was gutted and redone and hopefully will open real soon Good luck to Rosso Uptown
Yummy Gyro a spin off of there other restaurant is seeing major construction work done and hopefully they too will open real soon. Organico is setting up shop at the location which previously was home to a middle European restaurant several doors away from Bank Of America.
Mole Mole has been opened for a while and seems to be doing well this is a Mexican Grill serving fast Fresh Mexican food.  You can count of quality as they own Mojito down the block and Mi Ranchitto in Manorhaven as I recently read.  Upper Main street saw the opening of an electronics/ gift shop next to Andulusia Hairstylist/ Barber. Looks as if they have a wide array of cameras.
Purple consignment store has added a new wing which will carry furniture and home furnishing while the store next door still has clothes on consignment.
Further down main Street is All Shore Appliance,  a new Home appliance store which has a wide array of top line BBQs and brands of home appliances not ussually seen in home improvement centers.
Some excitiment might come from the sign in the window of what was Main Street Bakery which says under new Management and boosts that the location will be a Cafe.
I hope readers will supply the patch with information about other businesses opening or closing and other events not covered in the patch .
