1 Killed, Another Wounded In Double Stabbing Inside NYC Apartment, Police Say
A Saturday night knife attack inside a Crown Heights home left one woman dead and another wounded, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — A stabbing attack inside a Crown Heights home left one dead and another wounded Saturday night, according to police.
Police found a 74-year-old woman just before 10:30 p.m. outside 1700 Bedford Ave. in Crown Heights with stab wounds to her head and arms, police said.
Another woman, 72, was also found at the scene with multiple stab wounds to her back and arm.

The 74-year-old was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending family notification.
The 72-year-old was listed in stable condition, officials said.

The relationship between the two women was not immediately clear.
Investigators said on Monday that a person of interest had been taken into custody at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
