3-Alarm Blaze Erupts Near Prospect Park: FDNY
Firefighters battled a massive fire on the corner of East 18th Street and Albermarle Road Monday morning.
PROSPECT PARK SOUTH, BROOKLYN -- A massive blaze erupted in a Brooklyn apartment building Monday morning, officials said.
Firefighters rushed to 180 E. 18th St. to battle the three-alarm fire on the six-story building's top floor at about 11:10 a.m., said the FDNY.
It took nearly 140 firefighters almost two hours to extinguish the blaze, according to an FDNY spokesperson.

No injuries were reported as of 11:35 a.m., said the FDNY
New York City was under a High Wind Warning Monday and Office of Emergency Management officials warned residents to avoid smoke inhalation by closing their windows.
