Canceled: AFRICA SALON, Yale University's contemporary African arts and culture festival, takes over the Brooklyn Museum. 7/9
This event will be rescheduled. Because of an air-conditioning outage, the Museum will be closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (July 8–10).
The line-up for this festival includes: a curator tour of the exhibition Disguise: Masks and Global African Art; dance performances; a film; mask-making workshop; panel discussion; poetry salon; a dance party in the Beaux-Arts Court. There will be so much to see, do and explore.
