Dine with us on the sold-out closing weekend of The Obama Portraits Tour! The evening begins with cocktails from our friends at Prospect Heights bar Ode To Babel, featuring the essence of flowers that can be seen in President Barack Obama’s portrait. Then, enjoy a four-course meal at The Norm co-created by award-winning Executive Chef Kavon William Langley and Chef Charmain Sithappah, chef and owner of local South African restaurant The Seasoned Pot. After dinner, experience a special after-hours viewing of The Obama Portraits with an introduction and Q&A by Jane Dini, Andrew W. Mellon Senior Curator, American Art.
Menu:
- Starter: South African biltong paired with Woolworths Duetto, Klein River gruyère, pickles, and spiced chutney
- Second course: Durban cauliflower curry with bunny chow
- Third course: Red snapper thieboudienne with netetou, seasonal vegetables, and broken rice
- Dessert: Melktert with cinnamon crumble
