Brooklyn New Years Eve Fireworks 2019: What You Need To Know

Here's where, when and how to watch the Brooklyn fireworks in Prospect Park this New Year's Eve.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- Start 2019 the with a whizz and a bang.

The 39th annual New Year's Eve Fireworks Celebration is expected to draw tens of thousands of people to Grand Army Plaza on Dec. 31.

Fireworks will start blasting at the stroke of midnight and Brooklyn band Quintessential Playlist will herald in the new year.

The party will run from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and while it's free and open to the public, the Prospect Park Alliance is asking attendees to RSVP.

Subway commuters can take a 2 or 3 train to the Grand Army Plaza station or a Q train to the Seventh Avenue station.
