Brooklyn's Community Board 8 Meeting Canceled Over COVID-19
"We're taking it day by day," said district manager Michelle George about when the board will next meet.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Another community board decided holding an upcoming meeting isn't worth the risk as the coronavirus spreads across New York City.
Brooklyn's Community Board 8 canceled its Thursday meeting, said district manager Michelle George. She said officials made the decision after weighing health concerns.
It was to be the board's monthly general meeting. George said they don't know when the next one will be.

"We’re taking it day by day,” she said.
The board covers Prospect Heights, North Crown Heights and Weeksville. Its Brooklyn counterpart Community Board 6 postponed its general meeting on Wednesday, as did Community Board 11 for the following day.
