‘Christmas Miracle’: NYPD Officer Home After Being Shot In Crown Heights On Christmas Eve
The suspect has been taken into custody, according to police.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – An NYPD officer was out of the hospital Christmas morning after he was shot in the back while on-duty Christmas Eve.
The 27-year-old officer’s bullet-resistant vest left him only bruised. The bullet did not draw blood, CBS2’s Dave Carlin reported.
