Come celebrate Women's History Month March 5. 5-11PM at the Brooklyn Museum

Target First Saturday will celebrate Women's History Month with an evening of dance, music, film, pop-up performances, storytelling and more

On March 5, Target First Saturday will celebrate Women’s History Month by honoring artists and changemakers that break boundaries and chart new terrain. The evening’s highlights include a dance performance by The Erica Essner Performance Co-Op; storytelling by Queer Memoir; beatboxing by Ashley “SAY WUT?” Moyer; musical performances by Honeybird, Yahzarah, and Denitia and Sene (see photo). Other events include printmaking, female drummers in the galleries, pop-up gallery talks and more.

Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturday events attract thousands of visitors to free art and enteraintment programs each month. Some programs have limited space and are ticketed on a first-come, first-served basis. See our website for more details. www.brooklynmuseum.org/visit/first_saturdays/

This event is FREE.
