Sioux artist Ina McNeil hosts a workshop for adults in which she introduces typical Plains quilt designs featuring such traditional symbols as eagles, deer, and the morning star.
There is a $15 materials fee, and registration is required. Register at www.museumtix.com or at the Museum's Visitor Center. A limited number of free tickets are reserved for Museum members on a first-come, first-served basis. Members should call (718) 501-6326 for tickets.
