Thursday evening the Brooklyn Reading Works is sponsoring a night of readings by veterans of the Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The event will be held in the Old Stone House in Washington Park, the site of the Battle of Brooklyn, one of the Revolutionary War's bloodiest battles.
The evening will include readings by Iraq war veterans Matt Gallagher, Phil Klay, Roy Scranton, and Jacob Siegel, as well as a reading by former Soho Press President and Publisher and Vietnam veteran Juris Jurjevics.
