Dolina is a poet, translator, singer and songwriter. She started writing poems and singing them with the accompaniment of a guitar in the early 1970s. Since then, she became one of the most recognizable and beloved names among singer-songwriters. Less known is the fact that Dolina is an accomplished translator from French. A new book of her translations of XII French Ballads is being published this year.
