Film and Food: In Search of Israeli Cuisine at the Brooklyn Museum. 5/12. 6:15pm

Whet your palate before the screening of "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" with a tasting prepared by two award-winning chefs.

At 6:15pm enjoy a tasting prepared by award-winning chefs Michael Solomonov and Saul Bolton at the Terrace Café, 1st Floor. Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.coom/e/film-and-food-in-search-of-israeli-cuisine-tickets-24630072209.

The chefs team up to share an inspiring taste of modern Israeli cuisine. The tasting includes a custom menu paired with Israeli wine, beer and limonata.

Then at 7:30pm enjoy the FREE screening of In Search of Israeli Cuisine. Shot in fine restaurants, home kitchens, and on the street, this film brings to light the countless cultural influences, from Turkish and Palestinian to Italian, French and Spanish that make up the unique culinary tradition of the region.

Tickets for the tasting are $44, which includes Museum admission and preferred seating for the film screening, and $68 with a copy of Solomonov's Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking. Members can email us at members@brooklynmuseum.org for a discount code.
