Films: Wherever You Go and Red Leaves at the Brooklyn Museum. 6/5. 2PM
The filmmakers explore a wide range of lived experiences and dig deeper into the people and places depicted in the exhibition "This Place".

Wherever You Go (Rony Sasson Angel, 2011, 40 min.). After cutting herself off from her orthodox family, Zohara offers a ride to Neriman, a young Bedouin woman who is escaping an arranged marriage.
Red Leaves (Bazi Gete, 2015, 83 min.). Celebrated as the first authentic portrayal of Israeli-Ethiopian life by an Ethiopian director from Israel, Red Leaves follows an aging protagonist who struggles to keep his children and grandchildren connected to the values and customs of his disappearing generation.
Pop-up talks in This Place bookend the screenings at 1pm and 4pm.
