7 Injured In Early-Morning Fire at Brooklyn Cigar Lounge, FDNY Says
This weekend, a fire erupted at a Brooklyn cigar bar in Prospect Heights, prompting a massive FDNY response.
PROSPECT HEIGHTS, NY — A blaze at a Brooklyn smoking lounge on Saturday injured seven people, six of whom were hospitalized, authorities said.
The fire began about 2:37 a.m. inside the Blew Smoke lounge on Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights, FDNY officials said.
Firefighters responded to find a fire that had broken out on the first floor of the three-story building, authorities said.

Nearly 80 firefighters battled the fire and aided seven injured people, authorities said. FDNY officials provided no further details on the victims’ ages or conditions, beyond confirming that six were hospitalized.
Officials said the fire was brought under control just before 4 a.m., and its cause remains under investigation.
