BROOKLYN, NY — Cops are searching for a knife-wielding man who has been targeting cab drivers in Brooklyn.

The man, caught on surveillance video in at least one incident, has robbed eight livery cab drivers at knifepoint since November, police said. In two of the robberies, he also showed drivers' that he had a gun in his waistband, police said.

The robberies spanned two precincts — East Flatbush's 67th Precinct and East New York's 75th, according to police. They did not immediately say where in each of these precincts the robberies happened.

The most recent incident was on Jan. 12, police said.
