CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A new Hulu series about a woman's quest through her "top five" heartbreaks found its number one setting in Crown Heights.

"High Fidelity," which premiered Feb. 14, uses Crown Heights and New York City as the backdrop for Zoe Kravitz's fourth-wall breaking record store owner "Rob" as she maneuvers through relationship wreckage.

Filming last summer didn't escape notice of residents like Variety Daniel D'Addario.

Kravitz's character Rob was actually introduced in Nick Hornby's 1995 self-same novel as a London man. But its cult classic 2000 film adaptation starring John Cusack introduced a new setting — Chicago.

Just as records spin, Hulu opted to turnaround both the setting and, this time, Rob to a bisexual, biracial woman.

The show didn't just film in and around Crown Heights, but based on Twitter photos also along Madison Avenue and the Lower East Side in Brooklyn, according to TheCinemaholic.

Some sharp-eyed Twitter users noticed that although Kravitz's character may live in Crown Heights, she actually spends a lot of time in other Brooklyn neighborhoods.
