Popular Fried Chicken Spot Pies 'n' Thighs Now Open As 2nd Brooklyn Location
The Williamsburg fried chicken favorite opened its second Brooklyn location last week at 244 Flatbush Ave. in Park Slope.

BROOKLYN, NY — Brooklyn fried chicken fans, your wait is over: Williamsburg legend Pies ‘n’ Thighs has opened its second Brooklyn outpost in Park Slope.
The new spot at 244 Flatbush Avenue (the former Pecking House space once eyed for Taro Sushi) launched last week, bringing crispy chicken, buttery biscuits and signature pies to the neighborhood.
The Park Slope debut coincides with the Williamsburg original hitting its 20-year mark. Since launching in 2006 near the bridge, the spot has built a loyal following with its standout comfort fare.

Two decades later, it's still a Williamsburg hit. Owner Sarah Sanneh loves sharing how Martha Stewart raved about the chicken as her all-time favorite.
The new Park Slope spot opened to the public just six days ago and is already drawing rave early reviews.
Standouts include the classic chicken biscuit, offered vegetarian too, with honey butter and hot sauce. Lunch brings the Fried Catfish Box: cornmeal-crusted catfish, tartar sauce, grilled cornbread, pickles and a side of choice.
True to its name, the Park Slope menu offers five pie flavors from classic apple and bourbon pecan to popular banana cream. Pies come by the slice for $8 or whole for $45.
The new location is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
