Screenings of The Cup Reader and Speed Sisters 4/9 at the Brooklyn Museum. 2PM
Explore a wide range of lived experiences as seen through the eyes of Israeli, Palestinian, and other international filmmakers.

In this two-part film series, you will see through the eyes of Israeli, Palestinian, and other international filmmakers to explore a wide range of lived experiences and dig deeper into the stories behind the places and people depicted in the exhibition This Place.
The Cup Reader (Suha Araj, 2013, 12 min). Multiple generations of Palestinian women rhapsodize about love - anticipated, unrealized or lost - as translated through a fortuneteller named Warde.
Speed Sisters (Amber Fares, 2015, 80 min). The Speed Sisters are the first all-woman race car driving team in the Middle East. They're bold. They're fearless. And they're tearing up tracks all over Palestine.
