See Where Food Distributions Are This Week In Central Brooklyn

State Assembly Member Diana Richardson's office is offering food giveaways across her Central Brooklyn district this week.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Hungry Central Brooklyn residents can pick up free food this week across their neighborhoods.

Food distributions will be held Wednesday through Saturday by state Assembly Member Diana C. Richardson's office. It's the seventh week her office has held the giveaways, a release states.

"If you are in need of food, do not go hungry," Richardson wrote in a statement.

The Wednesday distributions already passed by the time of this writing. But they carry on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Beulah Church of the Nazarene at 1250 St. John's Place between Troy and Albany avenues.

Another one begins at 12 p.m. and runs till 2 p.m. at Kingdom Life Ministries at 770 Park Place between Nostrand and Rogers avenues.

They'll continue Friday at 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Crown Gardens Housing Corp.'s community room. That's at 845 Nostrand Ave. between President and Carroll streets.

The final distribution will be Saturday at Lenox Road Baptist Church from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The church is at 1356 Nostrand Ave. near Lenox Road and Linden Boulevard.

People with mobility issues can coordinate alternative pickup arrangements by contacting Richardson's office at (718) 771-3105 or by emailing district43@nyassembly.gov. It's open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
