Examine cutting-edge hat designs in this intimate studio art class, inspired by Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams and led by contemporary textile artists Ọmọlará Williams McCallister and Maya Valladares. First, we’ll visit our galleries to study creations from the House of Dior and renowned milliner Stephen Jones alongside diverse examples of stitching, shaping, and millinery practices found throughout the Museum. Then, head into our studios to apply your new knowledge of historical and contemporary accessories traditions by creating your own handmade headpiece.

All visitors 5 and older must show proof of vaccination. Visitors 18 and older are also required to show a valid I.D. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.
