Summer Is Coming: Prospect Park Soiree Tickets Go On Sale
Why not plan your summery park soiree in the midst of a cold, wet and grey February? Fabulous hats are encouraged.
PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN -- Summer is coming. Prospect Park organizers have started selling tickets to its annual outdoor summer soiree in the midst of a cold, wet and grey February.
Under the Stars in Prospect Park will bring hoards of dancing Brooklyners to the Prospect Park Peninsula on June 22, organizers announced.

The $45 tickets went on sale at 9 a.m. on Feb. 14 and funds will benefit Prospect Park Alliance, the nonprofit that cares for Brooklyn's backyard.

A sit-down-dinner is included with the ticket, as are two complimentary bottles of wine for those who buy a package of 10 tickets.

The dress code is as fancy as you want to be, and feel free to bring a purse big enough to stash a bottle of wine ... or several. Guests must be 21 or older and should expect festivities come rain or come shine.
